Wicked is the national touring production of the hit Broadway musical that reimagines the origins of the witches from Oz, focusing on the complex friendship between Elphaba and Glinda and featuring Stephen Schwartz’s score and Winnie Holzman’s book. The production plays at the Boston Opera House as part of its tour and preserves the original show’s large-scale staging, costumes and theatrical effects. Known for its memorable songs and spectacle, Wicked is one of the most prominent contemporary musical theatre works on the road.
