JPknowz is a producer, DJ, and sound designer based in Toronto, Canada. His musical upbringing includes work as a multi-instrumentalist, having studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he also carved his path in electronic music. He brings a thoughtful, meticulous, well-rounded approach to the turntable, drawing selections of both the well-aged and the current. With a deep understanding of rhythmic and harmonic concepts, as well as a sharp focus on the expressive narrative, his pursuits as a DJ, producer, and live performer spanning the depths of ambient, techno, bass, house and electro have affirmed a trademark sound that champions innovation while respecting tradition.
