Tour one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, D.C. The Main Reading Room is available to view on the first floor of the Thomas Jefferson Building every Tuesday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Visitors are also welcome to view the space on Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The Capitol Visitor Center is open Monday-Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tours begin every 10 minutes until 3:20 p.m. All tours are led by our professional tour guides and visit the Crypt, the Rotunda and National Statuary Hall. The tour does not include the Senate and House Galleries. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
