Jack Johnson and G. Love perform a concert at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley that pairs Johnson’s mellow, acoustic surf-folk songwriting with G. Love’s blues- and hip-hop-inflected roots rock. The show takes place in the Greek Theatre’s historic open-air amphitheater above the UC Berkeley campus, a longtime venue for major concerts and public events. The bill highlights two established American singer-musicians known for relaxed, groove-oriented live sets and audience-friendly performances.
