Susannah is staged at the Alice and George Brown Theater at the Wortham Center in Houston, presenting Carlisle Floyd’s American opera. The Brown Theater, Wortham’s larger stage, features a 17,000-square-foot performance space and seats up to 2,405, placing the production in a premier performing-arts setting. This presentation underscores Houston’s strong opera and performing-arts tradition by bringing a canonical work to a major local venue.
