    About this event

Learn how to make a traditional haku kupe'e (bracelet) lei with our local Kumu.

    Tuesdays & Fridays at 9AM
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturdays at 2pm

    Locations:

    • Rumfire Ewa Bar across Honolulu Coffee Shop (Tues & Fri @ 9am)
    • Community Table (Koi Pond area) (All 2pm classes)

In Hawai'i, a lei is given to mark milestone occasions and to show your Aloha. This small lei is made to wear on the wrist or ankle. In traditional Hawaiian dance, the kupe'e lei is placed on the wrist or ankle to draw attention to the delicate movements of the hands and feet.

Reservations are required and are for registered hotel guests only. Please check with the hotel concierge upon check-in on how to sign up for classes. If you are not present at the activity by 9:05am, your reservation will be canceled and seats will be given away.
