In Hawai'i, a lei is given to mark milestone occasions and to show your Aloha. This small lei is made to wear on the wrist or ankle. In traditional Hawaiian dance, the kupe'e lei is placed on the wrist or ankle to draw attention to the delicate movements of the hands and feet.
