    Birmingham Civil Rights Museum
    Birmingham Civil Rights Institute

    The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute (BCRI) is a museum in Birmingham, Alabama was founded in 1992 and is an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. The museum documents the history of the Civil Rights Movement in Birmingham and the United States. The museum is located in the Civil Rights District, which also includes the 16th Street Baptist Church, Kelly Ingram Park, and the Fourth Avenue Business District. The museum's permanent exhibits explore the history of segregation and discrimination in Birmingham, the Civil Rights Movement, and the ongoing struggle for human rights. The exhibits include photographs, artifacts, films, and oral histories.

    Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center

    The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is a large convention and exhibition center located in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. It is the largest convention center in Alabama and is home to over 200 events each year, including trade shows, conventions, and concerts.

    The BJCC complex has three main facilities:

    • The Legacy Arena: This is a 19,000-seat arena that is home to the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) basketball team.
    • The Concert Hall: This is a 2,500-seat hall that is used for concerts, theater productions, and other events
    • The Exhibit Hall: This is a 180,000-square-foot hall that is used for trade shows, conventions, and other events

    Barber Motor Sports
    Barber Motorsports Park is a multi-purpose racing facility located in Birmingham, Alabama. The park was founded by George Barber, a businessman and motorcycle enthusiast. Barber began collecting motorcycles in the 1970s, and his collection eventually grew to over 1,400 motorcycles, making it the largest motorcycle museum in the world.  The track is used for a variety of events, including motorcycle racing, car racing, and car shows.
