Veteran heavy metal band W.A.S.P. headlines a concert at Emo’s, a long-running live-music venue in Austin’s Red River Cultural District known for hosting punk, metal and indie touring acts. The bill also features KK’s Priest, the traditional heavy-metal outfit formed by former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing with vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens, promising a set rooted in classic metal riffs and theatrics. The show underscores Austin’s active rock and metal scene and Emo’s reputation as a go-to room for high-energy, guitar-driven performances.
